15-hour Code Update Class Online $80.00

NOTE: This is the 2011 Code Update.  Please be sure this is the class you need before registering.  It is *not* for the 2014 Code Update.

Once your registration for this online class is processed, you will be emailed a Reservation Ticket # along with instructions on how to complete the registration and take the class.

State Approval number for this class: #13-039-11

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY START THE CLASS AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE YOUR ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS VIA EMAIL (This may take up to a week after you purchase the class.  They are issued every Wednesday.) The stated start date of January 1 is not when YOU have to start the class. Once you pay for the class, the office will process the registration and email you final instructions to enroll and begin to take the class.

Once you receive the second email with the enrollment instructions and enroll in the class, you may start the class at that time and take at your own pace, provided you complete it within 3 months of enrolling with your ReservationTicket #. The start date listed is simply a requirement of the web program for registration purposes.

The class consists of 15 hours of education then an online test.  Upon successfully passing the test, refer to your syllabus for instructions regarding how to notify the class instructor for your certificate of completion.

The State of Michigan has adopted the 2011 Michigan Electrical Code effective July 1, 2013. You will need Code Update Classes to renew your 2015 electrical trade license. Please contact the state's Bureau of Construction Codes (BCC) site for further, updated information.

INSPECTORS: Please note the RECI/MSU Online Class is NOT approved for ACT 54 credit.  It is only good for 2011 Code Update renewal.

ONLINE PAYMENTS: While we use PayPal as our online payment client, you do NOT need a PayPal account to use this service.  Simply choose to pay as a guest, and you will be able to use a regular credit/debit card for your payment online.
