Grace Trudell - President

Ms. Trudell is a licensed Journeyman Electrician with GSI Electric as well a registered Electrical Inspector with the State of Michigan. She sits on the Board of Directors with the International Electrical Inspectors Association of Michigan, served as Secretary & 1st Vice-President for the Reciprocal Electrical Council, Inc., currently serving her 2nd term as Trustee on the Howell School Board of Education, represents organized labor and Livingston County on the Michigan Works Southeast Workforce Development Board and Executive Committee as well as the Livingston Career and College Access Network. She advocates strongly for education as well as women in construction through her current position on Board of Directors on the National Association of Women in Construction Detroit 183 Chapter. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Henry Ford Community College, currently pursuing her Bachelor’s at SUNY Empire State University, and graduate of the Detroit Electrical Industry Training Center. She enjoys spending time with her teenage son and the outdoors.

Jason Head - Secretary

Jason Head has served in various key roles in the Electrical construction industry over the past 27 years. His career began as an Electrical Apprentice, then a licensed Journeyman, Master Electrician, and Electrical Contractor. Currently, Jason serves as the Assistant Executive Director for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) in Southeast Michigan. His work encompasses many areas, including workforce development, Trustee, contractor education, safety awareness, contract negotiation, market development, and more.

His career has provided experience with both Labor and Management, providing a unique perspective that helps foster collaboration in the dynamic $171 billion unionized construction industry.

Meggan Griffin - Electrical Materials Inc

Meggan graduated from Michigan State University in 1998 and worked at her family’s electrical contracting firm while attending school and post-graduation.  She managed inventory, did some estimating and CAD work and then took some time away from the industry for eight years to raise her children.  Meggan returned to the industry and worked for a lighting agent in SE MI and also a large electrical distributor chain.  Meggan is a sales leader at EMI specializing in contractor solutions and key account management.  She is the proud mother of three children, Gretchen, Mallory and Arnold.

Thomas Bowes - Electrical Industry Training Center

Tom Bowes worked at the Metro Detroit Electrical Industry Training Center as an instructor and training coordinator for 26 years prior to retiring at the beginning of 2021. He is a Michigan licensed electrical journey person and has served as a member of the board for the Michigan Chapter of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
